Official too lazy to search, noob friendly thread.

Cheers mate, any idea on gearbox capacity? - thats the main one I need to do.

SAE 75W-90 or 75W-85API SL 4
4g15 - 2.1L of gearbox oil
4g93 - 2.2L of gearbox oil

Best way is to drain the box, and then just keep pumping the new stuff in until it just starts dribbling out the fill hole.

Yeee an absolutely ridiculous amount. Also explains why an auto tranny flush costs so much

I ordered the Mad Poly engine mounts in the kit of four. The kit comes with two pairs of bushes, however i mush be doing something wrong, because i cant seem to get them to fit. At the moment, i am installing only the bushes on the centremember.

There are two smaller diameter+thinner bushes, and two larger diameter+thicker bushes. I have installed 1x small bush at the front of the centremember no problems, but i cant work out which new bush fits in the rear. The rear centremember bush holder requires the larger diameter mad poly, but it is a thin holder which suits the smaller diameter madpoly. Am i doing something wrong? @stoney help lol

In addition, the larger madpoly bush has the centre hole offset from the centre of the bush, so i think this may be for the side gearbox/engine mount.

For the sake of 'just because', I was looking at these today:

http://www.psdesignsglobal.com/rtd-shifting-tech/

Says it's a universal kit for any 5/6 speed getrag or Zf transmission. Which one does the Lancer/Mirage have?

The CE technically has a GETRAG gearbox; I'm not 100% on what that link is for though (its not loading correctly at work). If its a short-throw shifter, you can get one for the Evo 4-6/CE for about $30 delivered. If its a quick shifter, I'm not sure how that would connect up, as we utilise cables for shifting and not rods.

Not a short throw. It's a billet shifter.

Can't find a thread (if there even is one), so I'll ask here. Is there any sort of step-by-step guide on how to do a g94 swap on here, or at least a detailed parts list of what I'll need? Seen a few build thread's of swapped coupe/rages, but no real details except 'done the swap this weekend'. I'm getting a g93 parts car this weekend (but it's done 320xxxkm) and I just remembered the wreckers here actually have a g94 lancer in their yard.

I believe Res is the man to talk to, he's got a G94 for sale ready to go into a CE, loom and all, so it's fair to say he probably knows what's up. Can't imagine it's actually all that different from doing the 93 swap, not visually overly different engines. From my research you'd need loom, ecu, imob, key barrel, keys, 4G9x long block and starter from your old motor if you're using the old gear box. Maybe custom P/S and A/C lines if the pumps are too far away. Hope that helps a bit

Might add that I'm looking to swap this set up into my mirage.

From what I've read, I use the the g94 block (and possibly ECU), and swap the g93 intake/head/exhaust and use the g93 wiring. Not sure about power steering lines/belts, or alternator. Is this even remotely accurate?
