Number plate light not working

Hi I've just noticed my number plate lights aren't working so I had a look at the wiring and there's a plug hanging down and I can't seem to find where it goes,any help would be appreciated

Check within the hollow section in the boot behind where the number plate sits, its probably dangling around in there.

Generally its wrapped in the loom that runs down the arm of the boot, up and around taped up and on clips. You should only have the boot release and the number plate light wires which run to the general location so follow them up and see where it leads. Alternatively if you unscrew the lights from the boot you can access them that way too . From that pic it looks like its in the back ground, good luck
