No crank or fuel

Ok so I bought a 98 ce glxi about 4 months back and it wouldn’t crank when I turned the key and the fuel pump won’t prime I went through and replaced the whole fuel system replaced all the sensors I jumped the starter and with a little starter spray the car fired up but when I tried with the key nothing I know it’s not the starter and all fuses and relays are brand new as well as the ignition switch. I’m getting no fuel pressure and no power to anything when turning the key but as soon as I let go all power comes back. I’m at a complete loss I’ve spent more on parts so far then I did for the car please all help is appreciated.

Does the car have an aftermarket alarm system at all? Mine does and when it's in its "active" state, it won't let me crank at all. And then the factory immobiliser will stop fuel from being delivered to the rail

No aftermarket just standard and yeah dropped the tank the old one was rusty as hell so I bought a new one and replaced it and the fuel pump

Made sure the wiring was put in properly and it worked. I had the same issue when putting in a new fuel pump

Triple checked it and did again just now but the cars not cranking nor is the fuel pump getting the signal to send fuel everything else is fine and the throttle body has start whining when I switch to on

Made sure all the wiring is plugged in?
Maybe fuel filter is blocked.
Throw some fuel cleaner in aswell
Do you have a pulse coming from the injectors when cranking?
Maybe take the fuel line off the injector and see if you have fuel in the lines

There isn’t any crank at all. And everything in the fuel system is fine when I manually power it but not when it needs a signal from the ecu

So when you turn the key everything turns off? Do you have an electrical short somewhere? Check all wires around the engine bay fusebox. The ECU triggers relays when the key passes through the start signal, so i dont think the ECU is the problem (unless its cranking and not firing up)

No cranking at all it just kills all power to everything after switching from on to start. Is there anyway I can test the ecu just to be safe

I reckon wiring issue. Maybe ground. Is your battery fine? Might need to be recharged or replaced.

Went through 3 brand new batteries just to be sure even tried the battery out of my Subaru and mx6 and same result for them as well

I’m not sure if this looks right or not but this is my fuse box

Fusebox looks normal, just a little leaf debris (also normal lol). Are all the fuses okay?

All the fuses are new same with the relays I did find a lot of wires with tape though

Replaced my negative wire and terminal same result the only thing that dims when I turn my head lights on and try to start is my clock and the a/c cuts off

Hmm. The wires look a little dodgy. Maybe donk is correct with a short.
Have you checked or replaced the alternator. just a suggestion
