Did you make this yourself or can you actually buy one?
Made it myself cut O2 connector plug off old loom and cut O2 socket off another O2 sensor and the joined them together works a treat 4g93 has o2 in front of engine 4g94 has o2 just before cat under the car.

Looks stock as a rock

Throttle cable mod needed to move the mount forward 1.5 cable didn't even reach first mounting hole on Plenum.

Ah okay, what wire did you use, just recently sized two core wire?

I cut the O2 connector back to the main loom and cut the connector back at the O2 sensor and joined in the middle leaving about 6 inches on each connector worked out the orientation then soldered it all back together with heat shrink and a protective sleeve.

Looks a very tidy swap. Nice job. Bet it goes way better now too!

Interesting you chose to use a 4g94 throttle cable. 4g93 intake manifold, throttle body and throttle cable would’ve all worked without any modifications.

As for exhaust, 4g93 2-piece headers extended 30mm in the vertical section would bolt up to the factory Mirage cat and exhaust system too. Using the factory headers and front pipe would also allow you to use the factory o2 sensor without extending it. Otherwise you could’ve got a bung welded on the front pipe, between the gearbox and k-frame / steering rack, and ran the o2 sensor there, which also wouldn’t require it to be extended.

Nice build though, I’ve been running a 4g94 in my Mirage for about 6 months now. Best decisions I’ve ever made!

Thanks man, went the 94 cable as didn't have a donor 93 plenum available all gone at local car yard.
Factory mirage back end seemed too skinny for my tastes the 94 had the 2" pipe to the cat extended it back and away it goes.

When I was wrapping up the exhaust tried finding a bung to weld on none of the local exhaust shops had any its the reason it blew out to a 2 weekend build lol.

Do u have any more work done to your car engine or turbo work ?
I'm keen to push the NA route thinking dohc head, cams port polishing then possibly bottom end work

I’m still running the factory Mirage 1.75” system, with factory cat. Rear muffler has been deleted, replaced with a straight pipe and cannon to help free up some flow for now. Albeit, even with the full factory system, it was still fast as hell, and wasn’t even tuned yet.

I’ve got a set of 3-piece stainless steel headers waiting to go on, with a 200cpi high flow cat, some resonators, and a big 3” tip. System will be 2.25” mandrel bend from the collector back.

Currently had the fuel maps tidied up, but no timing added as of yet. Final tune will come after all the performance mods are completed, as it’s a waste of time tuning beforehand - it’ll mess up the tune.

Engine is stock, and no turbo yet. Though I’ve got a custom cold-air intake system, catch can that isn’t plumbed back into the intake, FTO flywheel and Evo 3 clutch.

I’m running FTO 276mm twin-pot front calipers with 15x6.5 Mirage Cup Car replica rims that clear with plenty of room to spare.

As for DOHC, don’t waste your time. Just get a stage 2 cam from Hens Performance, paired with heavy duty valve stem seals and valve springs. Bottom end work is definitely critical if you plan to boost in the future, as the rods in these engines are skinny as *fudge*.
