Hey all

At this stage I was very happy with the car and the way it was finished
Was running a t25 turbo at 10psi, was such a fun driving experience and learning everything for the car was so good
Have met some really great people. And can’t thank them enough for helping me
After my accident today I’m not to sure if I want to repair the car or strip it and say bye bye
I have sunk so much time and money into the car that it’s upsetting both ways for me at the moment
I absolutely love working with this car, don’t want to really move on.
I will have to think about it for awhile before I make up some choices with the car
I was thinking of a turbo mirage build but time isn’t on my side atm
Got cut off by a commodore doing 80 in a 60 zone. Decided to cut into the merging lane. Only option was to lock the wheel down and slam the brakes on
Managed to hit those wire barriers and completely ruined the chassis
So yes, don’t know what I’m going to do

Ouch, looks nasty! sorry to hear about it. Always sad seeing stuff like this.
What does it look like under the panels?

So happy that under the fender the chassis is completely fine and can be repaired. I already got a new bumper and fender. Fender fits fine. But on a Slight angle. Both need to be repainted. So I’m sort of happy

So this is were I’m at in terms of fixing the car
Honestly pretty happy how it’s turning out
Need to have a trip to down to a wreckers to grab an indicator housing
And a repaint
