Low idle night before but now car wont start

so i have 05 CH lancer with 239 100kms. on the night before it wouldnt start, it suddenly had a really low idle out of no where, probs around 300 rpm idle .

i then went home and cleaned the throttle body, idle control valve and MAF but still nothing. (Maf is in working order)
changed the spark plugs few months ago and also disconnected the battery to reset ecu but still nothing .

when i had the low idle the car had no hesitation or performance issues when accelerating just a really low idle.

next morning i try to start it up but nothing, it starts for maybe half a second but it wont idle . if i hold my accelerator while starting, it will start but wont idle , as soon as i let off the pedal it dies .

any ideas ?
 
Check for unmetered air after the maf, fuel filter/pump condition and read the fault codes.

Do you have a G94 or G69?
There is a known issue with G69 throttle body’s jamming and causing no start.

Its a 4G94 .

the car only starts if i put my foot on the accelerator , moment i take it of it dies and wont idle.

could it be the idle air control valve ?

Does the car run normally once its at operating temp? If yes, then its not the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV).

I had this problem and it was the fuel pump
