Hi all,

As per the shoutbox, we acquired a 2006 CH, nothing fancy something my wife will use as her daily! We do have an issue with the central locking / remote keys. Its working intermittently, sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't.

the question is I know for sure its not the batteries as if its working it would lock/unlock even for 20m or so if it works. is there anywhere I could check for loose wires? where is the central locking module located in these cars?

Well first of all change the battery anyway, the symptoms described are those of a flat battery. Will cause it to work sometimes, or need a few presses etc. And it's only $10 if that. The electrics behind the system will be a combination of dash loom, door looms and the fuse box in the drivers footwell

Thanks Rigby! I do have a new set of batteries coming in for it to test out. hopefully it does the job!
