Ideas for New Forum Logo

I've been contemplating a change in logos and have had the following ideas:

AusLancer Sample Logo 2.png

I am keen to hear feedback on whether you like the new logo designs I have made or if anyone has any feedback on other ideas for the logo???
 
Looks good but how does it fit on the mobile platform. Will it be squashed or will it extend and widen the shoutbox etc?

Yes, the mobile platform should automatically resize it like it does with the current logo.
 
I like it. Either or really. Definitely fits better than the current
 
I've never had luck making a CC because shape wise it is too similar to a CE.
 
what if you had the front views then AusLancer then rear views
I'd still like to see the aussie flag in there (or a southern cross, even black)
 
Change the CE to a sedan instead of a coupe? Or use a CC sedan? Does that look different enough?
 
To be honest, it's been that long since I did any of that sort of stuff in Photoshop that I'd struggle to replicate. So unless there is any volunteers then it's not going to happen! ;)

On a side note. Did you not grab the .com.au domain or not available?
The triangle looks good more compact can you put an outline of australua around it?

I was looking to see if I could do something with an Aust outline but nothing is jumping out at me. Shrinking the cars would make them not recognisable, but then not shrinking them makes the logo too big.

Like wise couldn't work out how to add a southern cross without it looking stupid...

Oh and yes I do have the auslancer.com.au address. I have updated the settings with the registrar. Previously I had been using it as a test site and had forgot to update them...
 
Does the layout allow for a banner script?
Set the script to swap between each of your logo images you have made so far or individual models lancer/mirages everytime it is refreshed. Or use actual members photos and set it to refresh between what you load to the file system. Add words or sayings that can also change randomly when refreshed.

Sorry to reference another website. Delete when required but u get the idea it adds freshness and colour and is not restricted to just 1 image.

Don't think so and I want to avoid doing any custom mods to this new forum software. As I learnt with phpBB3, modding it with a million different things makes maintaining it a lot harder...

I get where you are coming from, but it would probably go over the heads of most people. I definitely want a Mitsubishi Lancer is some form in the logo and if we can tie something Australian into it, then even better!
 
What font is that? I am pretty damn decent with the old Photoshope' (ex Graphics Designer). I could mock a few things up and post them in here. Nothing too over the top. But at least there would be more choice.
