I’m back! - CE Lancer Coupe

hello boys and girls..
I used to be on this forum a few years ago under the username PhreekRice (I know, lame). I owned a white lancer Coupe which I had named Brunhilda. She had a vertex body kit and an evo 6 spoiler. Was my pride and joy but had to sell her unregistered so therefore I left this forum. But I’m back! 4 years later and I’ve just bought my second lancer except this one is in black, so it matches my motorbike really looking forward to working on this car as I loved my old lancer. First thing on the list is gonna be a cool air intake again coz I loved the sound my old one gave me. I did notice though, it has slight power loss especially going uphill. It was chugging and didn’t feel too great going 2nd and 3rd gear uphill so not sure where to start to diagnose that problem? Any tips would be appreciated :)

Thanks man! Just went through my old thread, Jesus I was a dumbass haha. Unfortunately I got another 1.5 but power for me isn’t an issue as I’ve got the bike which is enough power when I feel like doing the fasts hehe. This coupe is purely gonna be cosmetic mods. Might follow on Joshys old coupe, CE1 bar with foggies and an ez lip, evo 4 rear lip, some retrofit projectors, nice exhaust. Gonna do this one properly, not gonna cheap out on spray jobs or poorly mounted body kit parts lol. Who knows I might decide to go for the vertex kit again ;)
 
Hyo gt650 i think? How do you find the electronics? Been told to steer away from Hyo's because of electrical faults/melting, but only seen one on fire lol (and one ducati)

Yep, GT650R unrestricted ;) Only had one issue with the elecs, the side stand sensor was causing my engine to cut out and backfire like crazy when I did high speeds. Kinda dangerous. I was about to fork out $500 for a Carby rebuild and dyno tune when I read the stand sensor was an issue so I cut it off and bypassed it and never had a problem with it since haha. Other than that never had a problem. It’s got a zzr stator in it and an aftermarket regulator rectifier which are the two main things to replace on these bikes. It’s honestly an awesome bike, very fast and turns heads everywhere I go. Plus it’s looouuddd and shoots flames ‍♂️
