Hey been on and off the forums a fair bit but on the Facebook page, quite active there. You might know me as Billy Chen with the pedobear display picture.

I have been into my Nissan's for a long time, decided to get a basic mirage as a daily.

We know how this story ends, buy daily, modify daily, too modified, need new daily.

but a quick run down of my car.

started off life as a boring red mirage 1.5l which what i can tell was owned by a old person, car was immaculate inside with just faded paint. everything from the carpet to the rear plastics where perfect, this didn't last very long.

just to list a few of my mods

- 5 stud conversion and 18" wheels from a CJ VRX, followed by sway bar, aftermarket arms etc.
- VRX rear plastics from a mirage
- CE3 dash/door trims
- power mirror and windows
- full deadened roof, floor and doors, rear quarters and boot floor will be next when i get more time.
- map light and sunglasses holder from a 350z
- 4g69 conversion using the full loom from the CS lancer (both engine bay and dash loom)

off the top of my head that's what i have done so far, i'm sure i have left a few things out.

i do look forward to being more active at events so i'm aiming to attend the EOYM for a few days but i do have a 2 page to-do list and half of those things will need to be done before i can cross the boarder.

im not really a photo person so dont have many photos. but these are a few of the things i have done.

oh yes and the plates where a gift from a friend who said i should put them on my car because having a mirage is the closest he will come to owning another evo.

this car was built so people will think what the *fudge* and why.

I'd say welcome, but you've been around the forums and facebook page a bit, so no welcome for you lol. Whats on the list for EOYM prep?

Forum is a decent place to keep track of the progress done, theres a couple on here without facebook but with documentation on how thier mods were done.

pretty much put car back together. im going to start working through the list. but i might have to leave A/C off the to do list. i dont want to but see how i go with everything else.

Worst case, when we go up there's @Joshy_morris who can help out with regas and other diagnostics, so at a minimum have the system hooked up and ready to go, unless you've got a heap of *poo* to fix lol

love it, another clean red one =) that engine look looks like a nightmare in the pictures, sounds like its all sorted and running now though, very nice!

most of the thing are small things like

hazard lights switch, clock, headunit, cigarette lighter, power mirror switch, few things in engine bay etc.

a full day of knuckling down and getting it done i think i can do it.. just need the motivation.

after the heat today, i NEED air-conditioning as im fat.

AC never goes astray, I find it super useful even when its not 40 million deg and its bucketing rain and humid and the windows are foggier than my memory haha
