Hi to you all.

My name is Kevin & I live in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

I own a 2004 Lancer; that would make it CH? Have had it for a few years now & there one or two things that need fixing up on it, but thats another story.

Its white, auto, done truck-loads of kilometres (over 273000k) & has the “baby” engine! So it ain't no 'Flash Harry'! It gets used mainly as a run-around because its small, cheap to run & easy to park!

Hi, welcome to the forum, when you say you have the "baby motor", are you talking about the NZ DOHC 1460cc petrol engine with auto combo in your CH ?

You have the cc rating right but it only SOHC with auto. I'll somehow post images sooner or later. That's if I can find a good FREE image hosting site!

Oh ok, so NZ must have got the SOHC and the DOHC in the 1.5 lt engine in the CH's, as i noticed quite a few DOHC 1.5's for sale on TradeMe NZ, didn't notice any SOHC last time i looked, i see what you mean now when you said you had the "baby engine" , suddenly i feel more empowered with my 2 lt. motor

If you have a mac just use preview and minimise the picture size to 2000 maximum

I wouldn't have a clue what designation the engine is. All I know is that it is a 1.5L.

Yep, as far as i know they had good range in NZ, the SOHC and the DOHC in the 1.5 lt engine in their CH's, also had the 2lt & 2.4lt available also, just to confuse matters worse the CG Lancer (known as Lancer Cedia in NZ had the 1.8 lt as well, lucky ducks!
