I'm curious to compare to see how well my 20yo CE is doing. When I got the car I was getting about 8.4L/100km. Very little highway driving.
I replaced the oil & filter, air filter, spark plugs, transmission oil. New tank of petrol with fuel system cleaner added. This time I got 7.8L/100km. That was 505km out of the tank. I haven't dared take it down to the fuel light coming on yet. I'm looking forward to taking my boys away for a break in the summer and doing a couple of 3+ hour drives, and hoping this will take a tank up to 650km+.
