Hey everyone
Long time no post. Have been doing a couple of things on the wagon and thought you guys might like a look.
They are mainly cosmetic but I am very happy with the overall style I am achieving. My Christmas present to myself was the nice new spoiler hanging off the back. I found it on eBay and couldnt resist. It fit into the factory spoiler mounting holes perfectly and gave the car the jdm feel I want
Next were some front bar canards, to continue on with the time attack theme.also from eBay, they are just plastic carbon dipped. While doing the canards my mate and I also fitted some heavy duty fog lights. Hella knockoffs but are 4500k halogen lights and give off so much light. We removed the original fog light assembly from the car, and fitted the new ones by cutting the middle bar on the lower section into 4 bits, so the new fog lights fit snugly into the bar. We made a custom loom so they plugged into the factory plug, and they are operated by the factory button.
Have done a late night mountain run near me and the light quality is crazy, you can see a wider beem and gives the car that initial d look and feel
Next on the list is a beefier rear sway bar to give the car a bit more rear slide, and hopefully after that is suspension.
I also have on the list to go to a tuneable ecu and get the car tuned to run on 98 hoping I get a little more out of the factory motor. I know though once I start on the engine I will have to keep doing things to keep up
