EVO X Brakes fit CH VRX?

Hey guys, first time post...
I was wondering if any of you would know if Evolution X brakes will fit my Lancer VRX 2005? I would appreciate it, guys.
 
@pLethora will be able to tell you if the bolt spacing is correct I think. I wouldn't be super hopeful, I Would think some kind of evo 7-9 would be closer to fitting since similar chassis
 
Thanks man, I have found it cheaper for the Evo 10 brakes for some reason from wreckers in Sydney... So I am really hoping they would fit otherwise I wouldn't mind spending a bit more, but I am wondering if I'd need to change my master brake cylinder, and get bigger wheels?
 
If your hubs are 160mm they may fit.

EvoX brembos use different bolts so you'll have to drill out the hub or modify the caliper. You'll need the discs too obviously.

You'll need 18" wheels. Finding one which clear and fit in your non widebody guards: good luck.


Personally: it's a waste of money. But everyone is welcome to do as they please.
 
I found a prefect pair of rims I almost brought, they were 18" but I wasn't bothered to pay someone *poo*loads of money to calibrate my speedo... thanks for the advice bro I appreciate it, would 7-9 evos be easier? Without needing to drill or anything more of a bolt on fit?
 
Brembos are massive overkill unless you're making big power. I'd suggest good pads and rotors for your current brakes.
 
Save your money and get your self magna verarda twin pot calipers from a wreckers
Ks model.
 
I want to swap out my engine, for the evolution viii engine, so I thought it might be worth my while prepping it for when I finally swap it :)
