Distributor to coil packs

So I’ve been wondering for a while but is it possible to change a distributor to coil packs and if so what do I need to do the change over

People do COP conversions all the time.
Firstly it would not be worth it IMHO on these cars unless you have a pretty special engine.
And I am not sure but likely an aftermarket ECU and the associated hardware

Oh ok so doing the conversion on SOHC g15 wouldn’t do any good then

I’m just trying to see what type of performance mods I can do on a SOHC 4g15 but I haven’t had any luck finding anything for it

Most certainly doing this on a 4G15 is not worth it.

The only performance mod you should consider for a 4G15 is an engine conversion

see mcm's vid on 2sexy, added ls coils to 4g15 but they where running a haltech.

Youd need to convert the standard ignition system to an ecu controlled version. Not worth unless you are having weak spark issuedue to higher comp, more fuel or boost.
