Hi everyone, my real name is Cody, I’m 22 and I’ve been a fan of Lancers ever since I was a kid playing Need For Speed Underground 2. I recently acquired my first Lancer, she’s an ‘01 2 Door GLi with the 1.5L motor. Only got 182,000 on the odometer and I couldn’t be more excited to say I finally own a Lancer :smile:
 
At this stage I wanna repaint the bodykit it has, the current colour is peeling (regular sun damage) and start putting bits and pieces in it to get the colour scheme going. It’s currently grey with a black spoiler but wanna go with grey with blue accents.

After that I’m not too sure
 
Cool, what type of body kit is it? Factory or Aftermarket? Any pics ?
 
Yeah you got lucky with one of the better dealer kits with the baby flares
 
That's a good kit man.

My one request is that you take some time and learn to paint on inconspicuous or spare panels you can buy super cheaply from wreckers or gumtree etc. Getting it nice is a fine art but the difference in taking extreme care even with a DIY job makes the biggest difference
