Cold start issue

Howdy all
After finding my initial problem with my 1.8 mr which was junk in the fuel tank and new fuel pump I seem to have another issue.
When it’s cold it seems to hard start like it’s not getting enough fuel. Seems I need to warm it up for about 5 minutes. If I take off any earlier it’s like it’s starving for fuel until it’s warm then it is fine. Anyone have any ideas ?

If i recall correctly, the coolant temp sensor runs on the same circuit for the dash cluster readout and for the ECU, so if the dash reads 0 or Cold, then the ECU is seeing 0/cold, so its dumping fuel to try to warm the car up asap.
That said, there are a couple of other sensors that take over until the temps are warm enough for normal operation (MAF sensor for air pressure and temp, the Throttle Position Sensor for well, throttle position, the O2 sensor for fueling). Any other issues with the car, or its just a cold start thing?

Have an update on my red rocket
Spark plugs changed MAF sensor cleaned tps set iacv cleaned and reinstalled throttle body cleaned. Fuel tank dropped cleaned out new fuel pump installed and 98 octane fuel in tank. New fuel filter fitted.
symptoms are - hard to start - takes 3 or 4 goes before it kicks. Then takes around 10 minutes to warm up before I can give it any gas. Before the 10 minutes if I do it will either die or stall. Once warm operates fine. Not sure what to check now ? There are no engine lights. Thinking next injector cleaner or even removing and cleaning them. I have also reset the ECU.

Try clean the distributor, check the spark plug lead, as well as your TPS
