Car Won’t Start/Crank/Turn Over

Hi guys,

There’s a bit of history with my Lancer:

But I don’t think this is related.

This morning it wouldn’t start. I know that it’s not getting any power from the battery at all when the “door open” lamp doesn’t light up on the dash.

The voltage was 12.2 or 12.4 or something so I don’t think this should be happening.

Anyway, I’ve got one of those portable jump-starter battery units so I hooked it up but still nothing!

Hoping it’s just a fuse? But had to hurry to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The problem is a kill switch the father-in-law made. There was no voltage coming out of it. I kept fiddling with the switch and then the voltage came back. Some sort of problem with the contact inside I guess.
