Brake up grade Questions

So im looking at getting parts for upgrading my front brakes and just what some feed bake before i start buying parts.

I what to get 276mm rotors, ch lancer hub, evo 1,2 or 3 caliper bracket and tr/ts v6 abs twin pot brake calipers.

I will need to get a new wheel bearing. Will the standard ce lancer wheel bearing fit the ch hub?
I will need to get a fitting/ new brake ling to fit the inverted flare to banjo fitting.
Will a wrecker be the best place to get the evo 1,2 or 3 brake caliper bracket?
The twin pot caliper will be easy to get as will the ch hubs.

Any info from people that have done this mods before would be great

Thank

Did you use the twin pot calipers and what pads did you use?
Im hoping to do some track days. My local track is Mallala and it is very heavy on brake but im running a stock 4g93 that has done 200 000km so i will not be pushing it to hard lol

I had single pots initially, but now have FTO calipers. Same thing as Magna.
There are actually numbers on the calipers that tell you what's what, it's in another thread.
I just used regular Bendix pads because daily. As easy as going to Repco and asking for Magna pads.
IIRC both Magna and FTO were the are part number for pads.
The great thing about Mitsubishis is at they do A LOT of sharing within the family!

Anyway, this is something I'll be exploring really soon actually because I need new rotors and pads. Mine are all wore out!

the evo 1/2/3 caliper bracket is the same as the tr/ts v6 abs caliper bracket. so, since you’re planning to get the tr/ts v6 abs calipers, just grab the brackets off the same car

note that the kr/ks v6 abs veradas are the same as the tr/ts v6 abs magnas, so if your wrecker has both magnas and veradas, check both

take 10mm and 17mm line wrenches with so you can grab the brake hoses too, since they’ll have the proper inverted flare fitting for the caliper. even if they’re too junk to use you’ll know what to look for in replacements

i don’t know anything about the ch hubs or bearings, because i’m sticking with 4x100. and i haven’t bought my rotors or pads yet, so i’m no help there either :)

oh also, if there’s a few suitable donor cars, take the time to suss them all out before you leave the yard, so you’re not accidentally buying the nastiest, rustiest brakes on the lot :p

Thanks for the info.

Would be great to hear from someone that has done the hub change.

Im in the process of reading the other thread, there is so much info in there some good some not so good. But i will read it anyway :)

The further to the end you get, the more accurate it should get :p

Just finished reading the other thread, that was painfull.

I didnt see anything about wheel bearing.

Most of the other info was in there.
Thanks

Im hoping to get to the wrecker tomorrow to get the calipers and caliper brakets. Guess i will try and get some measurements.

Just use your stock hub and wheel bearing. To do the swap up front you just need caliper/rotor/pad and rear you need caliper/rotor/pad/caliper bracket and hand brake cables

^^^ what he said ^^^

All I did was pull the caliper off the knuckle, slipped on the new rotors, bolt on bigger calipers and add new pads.
No messing around with brackets or bearings.

I got a pair of front twin pot calipers and brackts off a ts abs magna today. Casting marks are 2207. $100
