Blow Off Valves

I have a job... that I'm leaving... that i'm getting another one! It'll be a smooooooooth transition, plus I can always pull my saved funds for rent that I don't need.

the first page of this topic (minus the last post) is so full of lulz i almost want to cry..

After switching from AFM to MAP i went external venting bov. the hks ssqv, not really for the sound but it is one of the better bov's at holding boost, plus readily available.

the sound....well that is a personal preference. So easy to plumb back anyway....

i'm with you roysie... the sound is all that matters... performance? the sound alone is worth 10kw

i'd love to get this to replace my blitz.. but i can't justify $500+ to be able to adjust the noise from the cabin.

+1

mate has one in his rex, makes to seem worth it everytime im in his car though

Really? I'd take my blitz over that. I guess I'm not one to comment on the form side of things lol. I couldent give a care in the world how loud it is or what pitch, as long as it keeps my turbo healthy and holds boost I couldent care less

Its easy to make an electric BOV, just throw an electric valve inline with the vacuum line, and a switch in the cabin.. my matre has done it to his 280z

Does anyone with any actual experience know if you can notice the difference in lag between no bov and plumb back

I have tried no BOV but the car stutters between gear changes, prob a tiny bit laggier without BOV
