Probably an hydraulic lifter that has bled out it's oil which is why it comes and goes.

Hey guys any idea on what is causing this noise? As shown in the video the car makes the noise at idle and it increases when the car is revved. Back in late 2017 the car made this same noise randomly while driving, lasted for about 20 minutes and then went away until now. Prior to this car was having serious issues with stuttering/choking for the last month ish, so I correctly changed the spark plugs today (which seems to have mostly fixed the stuttering) but after changing them this noise occurred when starting the car back up. After driving the car for about a minute the noise disappeared again. My mate off the top of his head mentioned spun conrod bearing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Check your valve train maybe something slipping in and out. Too loud for an injector.
Piston slap? wouldn't be inconsistant!

Hey mate a quick oil drain will tell you if its a spun bearing.
drain oil through a strainer and look for metal filings in the strainer.
If no filings in there well then at least your only down the price of an oil change.
