Hey there mate, welcome to the forums.

There are a few things to consider well before you start collecting parts. Mainly:

ECU:
Firstly if you are tuning then take your pick. If a tuner will do the work, consult with them first as to which best suits their needs.
Standalone - Best outcome. Highest Cost.
Piggyback - Cheaper, less common. Average outcome.
OEM - Cheapest, hardest method. Can net results as good as the standalone setup. Bear in mons, the further from stock you stray, the further from normal it will run.

Turbo Size:
Have a look at some compressor charts, learn and make sense of it. Decide if youre buying new or second hand.

Manifold:
The common done thing is the ebay cast iron manifold. I personally opted for having a custom one made, to suit my custom flanged turbo.

Turbo:
As a result of manifold choice and turbo size, you should be able to pickup a turbo to suit the above. The input flange to the turbo must match the manifold. Ideally youve also found a correctly sized turbo. I have a td04 hl15t from an airtrek. This is slightly oversize for my 5-7psi 4G94.

If need be, there are adaptors to match turbo flanges to manifolds.

Intercooler:
Type, size and installation

Also have a look through here

You’ll need, coolant lines, oil lines, ic pipes, exhaust down pipe and intake pipes made up.
