Hi,

I am doing a 4G69 swap into a ce lancer, i am at the stage of installing the ecu loom, would any one have any information on the splicing detail required as i know this has been done before!!! also could some one tell me how to bypass the imobilizer, i have the key and ignition barrel out of the donor car, however this system appears to be different from the CE system.
any help would be greatly appriciated

the word splice makes me assume thats you are looking at putting the ch engine loom and ecu into a ce lancer?
or are you going for aftermarket ecu

hi hornunga i am looking at using the ch engine loom and splicing the ce chassis loom before the fire wall so i can youse the original chassis plugs in the car, it looks as though it may be difficult to achieve using the CH ecu unless i can adapt the imobilizer from the CH and run the fly by wire gas pedal, any information on the conversion would be awesome, did you gou after market or keep the original?

find B i l l y C h e n on AL facebook page and message him. He has the whole CH loom / electrics etc in a CE mirage. was a nightmare but he'll know. Otherwise, aftermarket ecu would be easier (and its tunable too)

i started out my project the same way looking to use the ch loom, but decided against is as it was going to be way too much hassle for me and i was
planning future mods so ended up going stand alone.

as uncle paulie mentioned, billy has completed it with full ch ecu and all. Unless your tech savy or an auto sparky it will prove to be quite the challenge.
