Hello, this is charirurero from Queensland.

I've been reading auslancer for about 12 months. It's about time I contributed something. Thanks to everyone who's ever posted here, especially in the CE technical forums. There's a good chance you've helped me. Thank you.

I run a CE Mirage in motorkhana, khanacross and autocross. I started earlier this year, but should have done it ages ago. You should do it too. In fact, seeing as you're wasting time on the internet anyway, why not crack open a new tab and find your nearest motorsport club. Read up on what sort of events they do, what licence you need, and what their scrutineering requirements are. If you have any generation of lancer, in any spec, your car is ideal for entry-level motorsport.

I'll put something about my car in Readers Rides soon. Thanks again

Hello and Welcome!

Super inspiring to hear about someone else into the motorsport side of things - Keen to see a ride thread and learn a bit more about your car.

Welcome aboard.

They’re great little cars for it, I’ve been doing wet pan motorkhana for the last 4 years with mine. And got a nice haul of silverware on my shelf :)
Can’t wait for next season!

Hi and welcome

I have a CE coupe that I take onto the circuit.
Nothing competitive though.
I haven't driven any other car on the circuit so I can't comment how good/bad these are for motorsport
