Question on DIY Angel Eyes/Projectors

I've had a read through this http://www.auslancer.com/index.php?threads/diy-projector-retrofit.4578/

And I'm looking to ask about anyone who has done bulb swaps and etc. I do ALOT of night driving and would like a cheapish DIY way to improve my vision. I'm looking at light bars aswell.

I don't really know where to start in terms of what sizes, what fits or bolb brightness so any tips would be much appreciated.

I know how to wire them up and install. So it's just ebay bulbs and etc I need to research. A friend recommended getting halogen projectors and using leds with them, like he did on his MPS.

Thanks

The thread you mentioned shows you the cheapest/highest quality method of upgrading the headlights whilst still keeping it legal and not blinding anyone else.

If you want HID or LED or Halogen or Xenon, you need the corresponding projector lense and housing. Morrimoto happen to make all those and are the cheapest around who are worth spending the money on. I did find a reseller in Newcastle who is cheaper than buying from TRS or any other USA seller. You may be able to find another brand/maker - my research is not extensive.

Light bar is cheap and effective, but only use where you could use high beams. Otherwise you may blind people or worse attract attention from the po po.

Ok I'll do abit more research into it before I decide but I'm definitely tossing up a light bar in the bumper
