Fitting FTO seats in a CE

I've picked myself up a pair for mint FTO seats for 80 buckeroos

Anyways, before I start cutting and welding I'd love to know how you guys who own FTO seats fitted them and what I have to do/change.

Any input would be much apprciated. Thanks

Tron I think it was did a DIY a few years back, has exact millimetre changes listed

This. Or swap the back of the FTO seats on to the bottom of the mirage/lancer seat. Yes fabric is different but a seat cover will fix that.
 
Look at the seat upgrade info thread its in there. Use some decent thickness steel to avoid too much flex. Its a piece of piss, i did mine with left over scrap.
