CE Lancer ECU tuning

To be tested. This is what is potentially possible with ceddymods, IF we can get it working. Some features wont work due to evo/CE differences in hardware

I flashed ceddymods evo6 rom onto my plastic case ecu with success i tested some features and they worked gotta get someone to tune it

I've also flashed ceddy onto a plastic case ecu, but i couldnt get the car to start up. Wideband shows full lean, so i suspect fuel isnt being injected
 
Mine started and drove up the road and back but was stupidly rich needs alot of work to be right but having all the ceddymods features will be good tested antilag that worked as well....

Ill check my definition files when i get home tonight

ignition not working will still read lean as air is just being pumped though the motor. o2 sensor can't measure raw fuel just o2 which there will be heaps of. ;)

I know on ignition cut it will read the splashes of fuel going through the exhaust, i get nothing at all though. Are the fuel pump pinouts the same between 4G93 and Evo4/5/6?
 
I used the 25570100-mod-1v20b-maf rom and had to change the mem model from the F to FA in the xml flashed first go car started and drove but my wideband was going into the 10s when just trying to accelerate

Straight off Ceddymods store webpage? Same as what i used, and changed the memmodel
 
okay so you guys are flashing this map straight on without first being able to retrieve the standard maps as definition file does not match?

i was hoping to break into the standard map, copy it to the newly built map with ceddy mods. this would allow me to copy & paste the tuning for the 4g15 and 4g93 straight into ceddy mods map. has anyone tried to do a similar thing? not so keen on flashing a random map onto my unmodified engine setup.

i guess my main point is i wanted to be able to tweak the standard maps instead of just overwriting it.
 
U could paste timing and fuel maps into the ceddymods rom to get u started but idk how it will run withbthe 4g15 as its distributor/map where the evo rom uses wasted spark/maf not saying it cant be done but may be difficult and u can always flash back to stock

okay. we have successfully reflashed stock 4g93 ecu from a 2002 sedan. FA processor. changed memmodel in the XML to include the "A" flashed straight on, turn key and it runs! very rough however you can get it to stay running with some throttle. started making changes and flashed back and forth to test, all good!

this doesn't help with viewing/editing existing roms/immobiliser coding. but its a start.

copied over the timing and fuel maps, now to adjust the injectors and maf scalings and try get it running like normal.
currently hunting for the 4g93 rom that there is a working def file for, so i can take the exact figures with no stuffing around to get the base tune to match.

progress! :D

changed maf size and scaling, injector size and deadtime and it runs much nicer, getting the cel come on when driving so next move is fit wideband and monitor whats happening
 
The cel will be from the knock sensor settings not being right for the knock sensor installed currently working on getting it dialed in as mine has over 9counts between 2200-2700 and afrs are good and on very conservative timing

I didnt think the 4g93 has a knock sensor installed?
