4G93 Extractors from USA

Hi guys can I get your opinions on the following item please

First of all would they fit AUS delivered models? I guess they would but not sure

Secondly they are pretty cheap (about A$160 delivered) but how nasty could they be?
Has anyone tried them?

I believe they would fit, however being LHD vs RHD I'm not sure if anything underneath is different. Nothing that I can think of would be wrong. I've ordered a few kits for the car from the states and had 0 issues.

The quality could be fkn horrendous but who knows. I don't recall headers being much more expensive than that here though..

I haven't really called around, but from what I've read locally sourced headers would be around 300-500 without a flex pipe and also would need to be welded meaning I can't install myself (I like to DIY).

Locally sourced headers will also likely be made from mild steel, which is cheaper than stainless steel. A bit odd considering the cost of the USA stainless headers. On the other hand, the stainless steel used in the US ones, i remember a few guys saying that the metal itself is consider to be "thin", and you might be little pinholes/rust spots from the heat spots even though it's stainless. In addition, stainless steel has a characteristic of sounding a bit higher pitched than mild steel, so all in all the exhaust will sound a little more tinny-er than one with a mild steel header.

There is mild steel ceramic coated available also, these ones prob work out to about A$450 delivered. Which I guess is still not too bad? Weird that the stainless is so cheap, prob a good sign not to risk it not to mention the points you made. Do you know if the US design would fit Donki?

... actually those ones say they are stainless coated ceramic.

These ones are apparently mild steel and I guess the price would reflect that (~A$300), but apparently the spec is a bit smaller

I guess I should just give it up and go local. Wanted a bolt-on though lol

If @Res is around, he may know if the USA spec'd stuff fits up. Personally id go with mild steel towards the engine, and then maybe change to stainless in the back if you want.

The "thinness" of the metal isnt too much of an issue, but keep in mind that the price reflects the overall quality. From memory, OBX branded stuff wasnt too bad, but not top shelf either.

Thank @donki! I don't mind so much if it's not top shelf, as long as it works and isn't total crap I'll be happy. Planned mods are to be fairly low key, nothing overly extravagant, and mostly I'd like to as much as I can myself. I think ideally the only stainless I want is the tip and maybe muffler, only reason I was thinking the stainless extractors was the price
