Manual to Auto conversion for Mirage CE

first of all i know it is a big job,
i am thinking to buy a written off mirage with a good auto transmission
and then swapping them,
I dont have that much experience,
but i hope i can get some experience after doing this conversion
I have to swap the loom, ecu, radiator,transmission , etc

can anyone tell me from where can i start , any recommendations?

Do you mean changing from automatic to a manual, or manual to automanic?

Ahh I'm pretty sure he wants to remove the third (fun) pedal.

Which is fine. buying the wrecked car is key. you'll need the ecu the TCU, the interior looms, shifter, dual pedals as the brake is bigger. also a way of plugging where your clutch cylinder is and also everything you've listed.

I wouldn't recommend the swap though, the auto are dumb 4 speeds ans you used heaps more fuel because it dumps gears at every damn possible time. however if there are circumstances where manual is not a possible drive anymore, it can be done. I'd get yourself a Haynes manual or Gregorys manual so you have all the instructions and Info available as around here we generally rip them out
