So I am thinking about getting a short shifter for my CE Coupe 4g15. Has anyone done a how to step by step or are they pretty easy to fit?

Thanks everyone.

Thanks guys. I have just found the DIY section...

New question. Has anyone tried using TR TS Magna single spot front brakes with N15 sss 15 inch wheels?

Should you have to look for a DIY sect:

Surely this deserves a sub heading under GENERAL!!!

Be of more general value than Forced Induction.

Youve been yapping about this before.

Do it yourself instructions are grouped into specific model groups so that they can be followed for that exact instruction set. For example an engine swap for a CE will not be the same as an engine swap for CC lancer.
Its quite easy to isolate your type of car, and then click into the relevant DIYs.

Realize there are columns with DIYs' for each model for items relating to that particular model only and there is room to cover any other item relating to that particular model in General
However as with all other things in the General column there are DIYs' that can be classified and be applicable directly or in some instances with minor variation can be utilised, used and be determined as general as well.
As with forced induction, here again there are generalities and items that would relate generally but there are those that relate only to each independent model or perhaps while bearing some differences to each engine.type.
where's the difference? Would I be wrong in suggesting that general DIYs' would have a wider interest than Forced Induction?

Try looking up DIYs, in the general column and when found see how well utilized it is. Perhaps an alternative could be that the DIYs can be permanently set to stay visible at the top
as appears to be the case with some others. The DIYs' here are an indication of how popular this column is and has been, here under General even though it is difficult to access.

Please take this as being only a suggestion, as I realize I don't yet fully understand the clubs agenda. No reply needed and having been noted this can be eradicated and put in the bin.

Sorry for this my last intrusion and Thanks once again for a great format!!!

That's the short shifter I am talking about.

I have tried to search for an answer to this question but I can't find one.

You got the right shifter, I got one of those and followed the DIY in the CE Section.

Thanks guys. I have just found the DIY section...

I didnt get SSS mags, but I had CG Lancer VRX 15inch mags with my TS Magna single's. Cleared by about 4 or 5 mm.
Have a look in my ride thread.

KYB's are good, I've had them in most of my cars. I priced them up before I bought my coilovers. Your looking at about $120-130 a corner.
Then consider that new springs are anywhere between 150-200 a pair. It's almost worth searching for a cheap set of coils, you can get new ones from about $8-900.

If you wanted just for daily duties and know you'll see ZERO track time, then go shocks and springs. Its not like you'll see the real benifits of coils daily driving, apart from a firmer ride and probably more visits to your chiropractor.
If you can see track days and such in the near future, its totally worth the extra $$$ for coilovers any day of the week.
Most of us run the BC Racing BR Golds, but the MCA's that are more expensive again are also getting popular too.

Thanks ARC.

Have you used the Xecel-Gs or the AGXs? I think I will end up spending more money on struts and springs but it'll give me a more comfortable daily so I'm happy to spend the money.

I have checked out the MCAs but close to 2gs is a bit more then I can justify and I don't want any chance of being defected from the boys in blue. Although it's unlikely that I would be defected.

My last car had heavy duty KYB's, not sure of the specific name.
Although I had them installed in 2005, so they are probably called something different now.

I have looked into MCA's, but my current car will never see them.
I'm happy with my BC Golds, they only cost about $1200 or so and do what I need.

If anyone is looking in the future here are the answer to my question do 276mm brakes fit under Nissan pular sss wheels 4x100 and the answer is yes.

Also a picture to show the size increase over standard brakes. Calipers shown are single spot TR/TS Magna V6 non abs calipers
