Official too lazy to search, noob friendly thread.

Ah bit more complicated aha - want to plug a second headunit into a existing factory headunit. That way when I switch to aux in I switch to headunit no. 2.

Can't remove factory headunit in this particular car and don't want to loose steering wheels controls etc.

You mean using a cable like that?

Must've posted at the same time aha missed it - yeap thats the idea, just not sure if it'll work or overload something. Do the RCA pre-outs output the same audio as the ISO connector?

Search 'the racing seat' I think the boys posted a link in their thread to the bushes to buy

RCA Pre-outs, are non-amped outputs. This means the line signal will be lower than that comming out of iso harness(the signal going from hu to the speakers).
If you have just RCA out, this will be a line level output ie the same as the iso conector. With what you're planning, the new hu should be able to handle either level input. You can either find what level is required or simply give it a go. You shouldnt be able to do an any damage, I just spent a week trailing a line level signal in an amp that needed a lower level signal aha.

Perfect just what I needed to know aha - thanks man! Will give it a shot next few days and see how it goes.

Best place/Price to get CE mirage front struts. While throwing in new SL springs found one to be stuffed.

Was the direction I was going.. but it's a budget build so figured that springs would do the trick. Save the coilovers and the associated expense for the WRX. (Lazy 240awkw pushing for 300+)

I have on a few occasions been denied the right to edit my posts. What are the reasons where this can be done and who has the right to do this.
Why isn't the reason relayed to the recipient ie: Violation of a rule or whatever ? This right to edit seems to have generally followed a disagreeable reply.

You can edit your last post until a certain period of time has passed (short I think) and you can edit your original post on a thread you started yourself. Otherwise State mods can edit posts in State sections. Mods and Admin can edit everything else. I forgot the reason why but just make another post starting with EDIT:

When you flash your high beams quickly, do both headlights flash, or just one will 'flip' higher?

Just changed bulbs. Looks like only the right side goes 'hi', whilst the left side stays as normal driving lights.

If high beams are on permanently, both work fine.

Strange that they both work if on for longer time though. Ie not flashed

Any instructions to wire up a rear spoiler light?

I've just changed boot lids with one with spoiler and light. Want it to as as third brake light.
Thanks in advance.

Should be a plug or wire for it in the interior loom already. Pull out yourbrear seat base and carpet to find it. Trace it to see where it goes to the boot and look for excess plugs or wires there.
